People come to Immigrantio when something important is on the line — a green card, a court date, a family reunion. We take that seriously. Here's how.
Active Bar license required
Every lawyer on Immigrantio must provide an active Bar number, which we verify against the issuing state Bar before they go live. No license, no listing.
Private in-app messaging
Messages sent through Immigrantio are private — visible only to you and the lawyer. We don't read message content, train models on it, or share it with third parties.
We don't store your case files
Documents and evidence are exchanged directly between you and your lawyer by their preferred secure method. Privilege stays with the attorney, not a marketplace.
Stripe-protected consult fees
Consultation payments are pre-authorized and only captured after the lawyer confirms. Decline, no-show, or cancellation? You're not charged.
Verified reviews only
Reviews can only be left after a real, completed consultation tied to your account. We don't accept anonymous reviews and we remove fake ones immediately.
Verified client accounts
We protect lawyers from spam: every client account is tied to a verified email address, and abusive or fake accounts are suspended.
Report a problem
If something feels wrong — fake profile, harassment, suspicious payment request, or a violation of professional conduct — tell us. Email [email protected] or use the report link on any profile. We investigate every report — lawyer conduct, scams, abuse, disputed charges, or anything else.
Community guidelines
Lawyers and clients on Immigrantio agree to a short list of common-sense rules. Violations lead to warnings, suspension, or removal.
- No solicitation outside Immigrantio in early conversations
- No fake reviews, fake credentials, or fake profiles
- No discrimination on the basis of nationality, religion, or status
- No guarantees of immigration outcomes
- No requests for sensitive financial information in chat
- No threatening, harassing, or retaliatory behavior
